Barcelona have had some quirky ‘alternate’ strips down the years, and their latest third kit looks to be no different to that trend.
The kit has been leaked online ahead of official release, as tends to be the case with a lot of kits these days, and it’s probably likely to split you down the middle as to whether you like it or not.
Footy Headlines revealed
the shirt to be a maroon/purple-coloured camo-heavy look, with Japanese e-commerce company Rakuten emblazoned across the midriff, as is the case with the home shirt which was revealed last month.
It is definitely something different, and is probably a bit ‘marmite’ for fans on first glance, but one can’t deny that it is eye-catching.
The Blaugrana and new boss Ernesto Valverde will hope they can produce the football to match next season, having been edged out of the Spanish title race by Real Madrid last season and failed in the Champions League.
